Crime Quiz on Penguin website

Just for a bit of fun, there's a 2008 Crime Quiz on the Penguin UK website. I got 8/10. US readers may struggle with the UK TV questions (3 & 4).

More quizes can be found on their website, here.

Thanks for that bit of fun -- a tad less taxing than Norm's Quirky Quiz! Not being a fan of thrillers or television, I had to guess four of these on a 'sounds most likely' basis, and wound up getting 10 out of 10. Makes one reflect again on how many delusions of competence and omniscience have been inspired by multiple-choice testing in modern 'education' systems.

Dear God, Philip, I have no idea where to start with Norm's Quirky quiz! Way too hard for me.

I too got 8 out of 10 and I'm happy with that, knowing where the guessing came in, or poor memory...

Online is not quite as much adrenaline-generating-competitive fun as the Harrogate Sat night crime quiz. And Karen, you may find this funny: I spotted a little, handbag sized torch in Tesco earlier this year and bought it, thinking it might come in handy for Harry this year. The lighting was so poor last year! Anyway, I'll have the torch and my reading glasses on hand this year. I'll be there with props even if I don't have many of the answers.

I'm so embarrassed by my score that all I can say is if you invite me to join your table on the next quiz night, then I'll be wearing masking tape across my mouth. I am quite good with Biblical or geographic knowledge though.
