Chapter 1

Dr Jonasson was woken by Nurse Nicander five minutes before the helicopter was expected to land. It was just before 1.30 in the morning.

"What?" he said, confused.

"Rescue Service helicopter coming in. Two patients. An injured man and a younger woman. The woman has a gunshot wound."

"Alright," Jonasson said wearily.

And then what do we all do when we've finished TGWKTHN?

Could there be any hidden Larsson manuscripts? Where one needs a secret code to open the safe? Or a manuscript entrusted to a friend? Or hidden in Alexandrine verse (hats off to Fred Vargas)?

IF not, then what?

And how can we get this in NYC soon, asap? IT's getting maddening to wait. How long can we wait for this?
And the movies--just too long.

I live in the USA and have read the first 2 in this series. A friend loaned me TGWTDT and I was instantly hooked. I checked the library for the TGWPWF and the waiting list was 647. My friend ended up buying the hardcover edition cause the paperback wasn't available at the time. Anyway it's my turn to buy but it's not released in the USA yet but I found out from another blog that the bookdepository.com(sp?) in the UK delivers all around the world for free. I ordered a copy today and will looking for a package shipped via the Royal Mail. BTW am I the only guy on this blog?

For Kathy D.......... Apparently his life partner has part of a 4th book on a laptop but I've read conflicting things about what she is doing with it.
