I am really looking forward to reading The Snowman now!

Thanks, Norman! It is really good. A great set of reviews, Karen. The newspapers are put to shame! (The Times "review" section has been quite pathetic for the past few weeks. Your reviews are much better.)

I have to read, "The Redbreast," first, I'm told, when starting to read Jo Nesbo.

Is there a review posted by Maxine of "The Man from Beijing"? I read it and liked it a lot--give it five stars out of five.

I think I read on a blog--maybe Scandinavian Crime Fiction--that Maxine liked it and I'd like to read a review as I'm very interested in seeing what others thought of this book, how they evaluate it.

It's very thought-provoking, challenging, as well as a good story--and strong women characters, always a good thing.

Hi Kathy,

yes do start with The Redbreast if you can. This is #3 in the series but the first one currently available in English and is the first one of a loose trilogy within the series followed by Nemesis and The Devil's Star. #1 The Bat Man is due out in English in 2012. (Jo Nesbo bibliography.)

Yes Maxine's review is here.
