Oh dear - I was unimpressed with The Hypnotist but did finish it, which is more than I can say for Tideline, which I found tedious and distasteful in its subject matter (yet more kidnapping, etc). Based on other feedback, I shan't be embarking on The Fear Index! Pity they could not come up with some better crime titles, eg the ones on the International Dagger shortlist.
