Casino Royale on DVD

The eagerly awaited two-disc collector's edition (R2) of Casino Royale comes out tomorrow (19th).

Special features:

Becoming Bond (30 mins)
James Bond For Real (30 mins)
Death in Venice (30 mins)
Bond Girls are Forever ( 50+ mins)
5 News wraps
Music Video

Amazon.co.uk have the trailer on their page, whereas Play has a teensy clip from the extras.

MI6 review the R1 version in terms of the 'technical merits of the disc and the special features'.

There will be less of Daniel Craig's flesh on show in the follow up according to a report on Digital Spy, in which the actor says that he doesn't want any more nude scenes.

Having not seen this at the cinema for some reason, Cathy is desperate to see this. It is on the Amazon rent list so here's hoping.

Personally I cannot get too het up about Daniel C after seeing him (1) as a tramp (and suspiciously spotty) in "my friends in the north" and (2) in the weedy adaptation of "enduring love". But, I suppose I'd give him another try if he pops through my letterbox in an orange envelope!

Pity about the next movie though. Wretched man.

Asda have a £7 for 7 days offer at the moment! (Compare M&S with a £15 tag today!)

Asda sold out today in no time. But they are having more stock in on a daily basis.

LOL, it's also a BIG EVENT for Asda. I called in one store at almost 22:00 and they were sold out, but they still had (male) assistants in black tie, or the equivalent at the checkouts! Every bloke's a Bond this week at Wal-Mart's subsid!

Good fun to see it. Disappointing to not get the Daniel Craig DVD though! He's the bees' knees after all!

I can't judge whether or not Daniel Craig is, in fact, the bee's knees, but he was an interesting choice to play Bond. I had never seen Craig before, so I had no idea what he looked like. He was more weather-beaten and less suave than I'd have expected of a Bond, which I thought fit the tone of the movie rather well.
