Oddly, the cover of First Cut is the Deepest also featured a chair. I don't know why, as this particular chair didn't feature in the book. Seems as though designers have a bit of a thing about them!
Spooky! I remember reviewing "The Mercy Seat" which rather stomach-churningly featured a chair, but I have blanked on the cover.
