New Reviews: Ian Rankin and Lin Anderson

Regular viewers might have noticed that the blog's been a bit light these last few days. I've been busy with family matters and haven't had much time to blog or sort out this week's full suite of reviews. Instead I've chosen a couple of new reviews to tide the reviews section over until normal service is resumed next weekend. So here are reviews of the new books out this week from two of Scotland's finest crime writers:

Amanda Brown reviews the new book from Lin Anderson, Easy Kill. This series features forensic scientist Rhona MacLeod and is set in Glasgow.

And Edinburgh is the setting for Ian Rankin's post-Rebus novel, Doors Open, which is reviewed by Pat Austin.

Current Competition:

Win a copy of Nemesis by Jo Nesbo*
