The Demon from Dakar - blurb
Information has been scarce about the new book from Kjell Eriksson, The Demon from Dakar. I've managed to track down just these few lines in a Minotaur catelogue:
i do wish a british publisher would pick these up...
ReplyDeleteI've been lucky in that my library service has bought the first two. It took a while, so I may have a long wait for 'Dakar'...
ReplyDeleteRemind me again of the second? Is it a sequel to Princess of Burundi and this the third? Or are they all out of order like Nesbo and co?
ReplyDeleteBurundi is #4, Stars is #6 and I believe Dakar is #7. I do feel a bit adrift with the characters, having started so late in the series and then there's #5 missing so the Ann-Ola 'moment of weakness' isn't mentioned at all in Stars.
ReplyDeleteYes, there is a massive back-story to Ann-Ola that is evident from "Burundi" -- very frustrating not to be able to read it!
ReplyDelete"Stars", eh, must look out for that...
The Cruel Stars of the Night - review coming soon...'fraid I didn't like it anywhere near as much as Burundi.
