more, disturbing, i think, is the fact that Hutchinson have used forests to illustrate the covers of the last THREE wexford novels (which means FIVE pictures of trees, considering that two of the pictures were changed between hard and paperbackback editions)!

in fact, here they are:

1) http://www.amazon.co.uk/Babes-Wood-Inspector-Wexford/dp/0091794463/ref=sr_1_16?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1235771506&sr=1-16

2) http://www.amazon.co.uk/Babes-Chief-Inspector-Wexford-mystery/dp/0099435446/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1235771542&sr=1-1

3) http://www.amazon.co.uk/End-Tears-Ruth-Rendell/dp/0099491141/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1235771558&sr=1-1

4) http://www.amazon.co.uk/Not-Flesh-Ruth-Rendell/dp/0091920590/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1235771621&sr=1-3

5) http://www.amazon.co.uk/Not-Flesh-Ruth-Rendell/dp/0099517221/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1235771621&sr=1-2

and that's five forest covers within five years.
